The Murray Charteris Art Gallery is still operating, but now only as an online store where you can buy Murray's art and art lessons.
Hi everyone, it has been quite a while since my last newsletter and I have so much to tell you. Firstly, even though I have closed the gallery in Hervey Bay (now giving me more time to be creative), From August 1, 2010 you will still be able to purchase my paintings and prints either online or you can make a time to come and see me in my studio. I am always happy to show you my new work and you can see my works in progress. Up until August 1, the website is still up for viewing my artwork but purchasing is currently unavailable, www.murraycharteris.com. I am now working on spreading my works to more galleries throughout Australia.
NEW GALLERY REPRESENTATION
You can now see my work in Sydney. My new painting “Athyrium’s Offering” is available at Sydney Galleries in Darling Harbour. Sydney Galleries is a premier Art Gallery in one of Sydney’s busiest tourist areas, Darling Harbour. You can visit their website at www.sydneygalleries.com.au. I am proud and honoured to be included in this gallery. Currently you can see my work at the Tina Cooper Gallery in Eumundi, Bella Art Gallery in Brisbane and now Sydney Galleries.
Limited edition (250) giclee prints of “Athyrium’s Offering” are also available. FOR MAILING LIST CUSTOMERS ONLY…. I would like to offer a very special early bird price on the Limited Edition prints. INTERNATIONAL NEWS
On an international note, I have been fortunate enough to have several paintings selected for publication in the US book, “The Best of Worldwide Watermedia Artists, Vol 1”, due to be released soon. This will be a great precursor to my exhibition at Gallery Gora in Montreal at the end of next year.
ONLINE ART LESSONS
Online Art Lessons have been delayed due to software changes, however this means that I can make them even better for you. I am working very hard to make these available to you as soon as possible. I am now aiming for the first ones to roll out in December. I know you are all anxious for these, it will be very exciting.
ART MATERIALS
I still have some Art Materials stock left over from the Gallery. If you would like some half price AS oil paints then email me and we can organize to meet up. YOU ONLY HAVE UNTIL JUNE 10 to take advantage of this offer. If you live outside Hervey Bay then email me the colours you would like and if I have them, I can post them to you.
